NEAR Protocol is a community-operated cloud which forms the backbone infrastructure of the Open Web stack and supports an entirely wave of new applications that will be built using open technologies. NEAR will succeed where prior generations of platforms like Ethereum have not because the technology is finally at a place which allows the level of usability necessary to achieve mainstream adoption and the at-scale performance necessary to support it.
